Texas country singer-songwriter Kylie Rae Harris has died in a northern New Mexico car wreck Wednesday night, a representative for the artist confirmed to The Tennessean. Kylie was a 30-year-old Wylie, Texas native. According to her Instagram account she was scheduled to perform Thursday 9/5 and Saturday 9/7 at Big Barn Dance Music Festival in Taos, New Mexico. Harris and an unidentified 16-year-old died in the three-vehicle crash. Kylie's last Instastory spoke of her 12 hour trek through mountains of New Mexico. She explained she had just arrived in Taos, NM to perform at the Big Barn Dance. She explained to her viewers that she looked a mess because she had been crying. She also noted that everyone in her life that lived in NM had passed away except for her uncle. She especially had fond memories of driving in the back seat with her father as they drove through NM and was reflecting on the grief of her father's passing. She also noted that a group of random cows showed up from out of no where in middle of the road and reflected on a story of driving in the back seat with her father when they also hit a cattle guard. She explained that we all grieve in different ways. We will miss you KRH. Rest in Peace sweet Texas Angel. #kylierae #kylieraeharris
